Stacy Rodriguez
Singing Teacher
Stacy began singing at the ripe old age of 5, performing at small and large local events and family oriented gatherings. At 8 years old, she began to perform as a member of Tropical Invierno, a band that performed in Junction, TX and surrounding cities.

Fast forward to 15 years old, and Stacy would start to taste real local success with the release of her first CD,“Stacy y Grupo Suave.”

At 18, Stacy relocated to San Antonio, TX to join the San Antonio Entertainment Network, run by Louis Ramirez. She found herself singing all over the city, opening major events such as the Tejano Conjunto Festival, Tejano Fan Fair, The River Parade, Fiesta and many others. She also sang with local Tejano bands on the weekends.

At 21, Stacy released her second CD, “Dreams Come True.” It was this, her second release, that made her realize she wanted to do her own music, outside of the confines of Tejano. As a result, she began her first Rock band, INR, doing nothing but self-penned music. INR played the local San Antonio circuit. Stacy also branched out to explore singing Rock covers with other bands in San Antonio.

In 2011, Stacy found her true calling when she joined The South Texas Soul Crushers, a band devoted to writing and performing original soul and funk music. “To this day, I still regard some of those guys as family” she says. When the group disbanded, she continued to write and caught the eye of some New York City producers who took her all over the world writing for different artists.

Stacy has performed throughout the US and overseas. In addition, Stacy has been a contestant on The Voice and auditioned for both American Idol and America’s Got Talent.

You can catch Stacy singing in and around San Antonio, with her new band, Stacy Nevaeh and Bad Things. Straight up, old school Funk and R&B.
