Trevor Luthy

Trevor is a lifelong musician who has been singing and playing instruments since an early age. His bands have toured nationally and recorded multiple albums. His taste in music ranges from rock, funk, and folk to classical and metal. He enjoys being around the school community and being active outdoors, but mostly loves to spend time with his wife Laura and two children.
Sabrina Gomez
Studio Coordinator
Sabrina grew up in Pearland, TX. She attends Texas Southern University majoring in radio, TV and film. Her career goals are to become a producer and casting director. She considers herself a beginner Ukulele player and roller skater. Play some Disney music and she will start singing along!
Jesus Menendez
Music Director
Jesus has been a guitarist and vocalist around the Houston music scene for the past 15 years. Influenced mostly by Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine, Jesus is currently playing with his metal band, The Virulent and rock band Vosotros. He recently graduated from Texas Southern University with a Bachelor in Arts.
Brad Torres

Originally from Kansas City, Brad studied theory and tonal composition at the Kansas City conservatory of music. After moving to Houston, Brad began playing local venues, where he composed and performed theatrically. He brings a passion for Jazz, and a wide variety of artists.
Will Herrington

Will is from Alvin, TX and started playing Trombone in the 6th grade. He then started playing guitar at the age of 16 and hasn’t looked back since. He was in a band by 17 and touring by 19. He furthered his musical career by beginning to teach at School of Rock, and has taught every lesson or performance group that the School offers! He still plays with his band, And Then Suddenly, and brings his broad musical tastes and talents to our school.
Nathan Kirkman
Bass Guitar Teacher, Guitar Teacher, Keyboard Teacher, Drum Teacher
Nathan was born in New Mexico and raised all over the country, but his family settled in Pearland, TX. He started with classical Piano at the age of 7, but has since self taught guitar, bass, and drums. He has a wide variety of influences from Beethoven, Chopin, Coltrane to Megadeth and Sabbath.
Stephen Pooler
Drum Teacher
Stephen is from Allen, TX where he started percussion in elementary school and has been drumming ever since. He played quads and top bass with surround sound percussion and Quads on the University of North Texas Green brigade drumline. He aspires to live to 100!
Zach Hernandez
Singing Teacher, Guitar Teacher, Drum Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher,
A former school of Rock All-Star and Pearland native, Zach gets his inspiration from Chris Cornell, Sabbath, and Zeppelin. He is a classically trained singer, and plays locally with his band HAZE. He is currently an audio production student at San Jacinto.
Emily Klang
Bass Guitar Teacher, Guitar Teacher, Keyboard Teacher
From League City, Emily began playing guitar at 9 in Elementary school. She later joined the school orchestra playing cello and the School of Rock and playing bass where she honed in her musical skills. Inspired by the likes of Geddy Lee and John Paul Jones, she currently plays in local band HAZE.
Andrew Hernandez

Andrew is a Pearland native and former School of Rock student, inspired by Mark Tremonti and Josh Farro. He is currently playing in 3 local bands, HAZE, promising lies, and a solo project, called Project A.N.D.Y. He is also in school for music production and aspires to be in the music industry.
Aleksa Radojkovic
Bass Guitar Teacher, Guitar Teacher, Keyboard Teacher
Aleksa was born and raised in Serbia, and moved to Pearland in high school. He studied folk and classical music, where he learned piano and Clarinet. He even competed in accordion contests in his home country! He is also a former School of Rock student for bass and guitar.
Ty Ganz
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Keyboard Teacher
Ty is originally from Angleton, TX. He began taking music lessons at age 13 for guitar, bass, and drums, and has since played for many local artists including Velvet Roads. He is inspired by many artists, and has a Mediterranean taste for food.
